Initiate Provocation A couple from Utah is going all out to prove to the world that they are the ultimate Swifties in anticipation of the release of Taylor Swift’s new album on Friday. Until the next one is released, they are remaking an album cover every day.
Ahead of release, Taylor Swift album covers
This week, Charlie Bird has made his husband Ryan Clifford into the legendary singer every day, and for each new release, around a million people have tuned in. Clifford revealed that the couple’s Halloween costume, in which they dressed as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, inspired them to create the album covers.
“Halloween is one of, if not my favourite holiday, and so I always go all out every year,” Clifford explained. That Halloween post had over 200,000 likes and 8 million views, indicating that a lot of people enjoyed it.
“From there, it just generated a lot of interest in Ryan, with his blonde hair,” said Bird. The fact that he dressed up like Taylor Swift with his own hair amused a lot of people. A bearded man dressing up as Taylor Swift is an absurd contradiction.”
The two decided to show off their hair once more in advance of the album’s release on April 19.
“I don’t think I knew what I was getting myself into,” added Bird, who also mentioned that he was surprised by the positive response.
“It’s kind of fun because we’ve created this little subculture bubble, within the subculture of Taylor Swift fandom, where we have these people who are anticipating our release,” he commented. Every evening, we accompany people on photo shoots and assist with wardrobe changes and editing.

It’s been a lot of fun overall. Something like this is so happy and light to share.”
In response to the question of whether the couple hopes the real Taylor Swift sees their parodies, Clifford stated he hopes she’s “somewhere far away from the internet, relaxing.”
“I can’t stop giggling because I’m dressing up in these stupid outfits and posing, and even though it’s ludicrous, it appears to be making others happy. it’s awesome,” Clifford said.
Bird concurred and added that making people smile has truly been the couple’s mission from the beginning.
It’s amazing to be reminded of how many kind and encouraging people there are on the internet, even though it can occasionally be a very heavy and stressful place. And it’s been a really great method to get people together and just make a small happy bubble where we don’t care about anything else that could be going on in the outside world.”
The new album will be available on Friday in the Utah duo’s own form.
