Amy Robach Disconnected Emotionally With T.J. Holmes At “GMA3’s Podcast”

In the most recent episode of the “Amy & T.J.” podcast, the former co-anchors of “GMA3” expressed their belief that their careers were “unfairly taken” away from them. T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, two former coworkers, miss each other.

The former co-anchors of Good Morning America have disclosed that they felt “pressure” from their professions being “taken from them” after their relationship was made public. Robach, fifty, stated, “We’ve always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing… that pressure is a lot,” in an interview on the podcast that was just made available on Tuesday, with Amy & T.J.

The actress went on to say that she didn’t want to imply that she felt compelled to stick with the 46-year-old Holmes or pursue their romance. Instead, she felt under pressure because of their lost TV careers.
She broke down. “I feel the pressure of our careers that I feel were unfairly taken from us, but I don’t feel the pressure from the public to stay with you.”

A moved Robach continued to consider her choice to be with Holmes, confessing that she had “chosen” to love him despite the difficult consequences and professional sacrifices entailed.

She went on to say to Holmes, “I know that I know you well enough and that I’ve spent enough time with you and I knew how I felt.” And love is more than simply an emotion; there are moments when it’s a decision. I believe that love is a decision, and I have chosen to love you. Lust is only a sensation.”
Robach also mentioned in the episode how much she would want to see Holmes and her back on TV.

Though Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes‘ relationship isn’t flawless, they have a public platform to confront their problems, which sets them apart from other couples.
After they quarreled, Holmes, 46, requested Robach, 50, to talk about their apartment on the Tuesday, January 23, episode of their podcast “Amy and T.J.” Robach acknowledged that juggling their personal and professional life presents additional difficulties for her.

“I’ve always had complete faith in our ability to collaborate on television or in any other broadcast role. Robach added, “We operate differently… We each approach our tasks differently, which led to the issue. We’ve been sitting next to each other in silence for hours on end, and it’s tiring.”

When Robach began to grieve about their remoteness from one another, the talk took an emotional turn.
She said, describing Holmes as “emotionally removed” from their relationship, “I felt extremely disconnected from you, and I am someone who does want and needs physical touch, words of affirmation, and dialogue.

To comprehend Robach’s viewpoint, Holmes explained his choice to videotape their conversation. He acknowledged that he felt “like a fraud” for not letting the audience see how the couple handles their romantic setbacks.

The couple’s connection evolved from business to pleasure over time, and in late 2022 they were fired from the show after Daily Mail revealed pictures of them having a quiet vacation in upstate New York. When word of their romance leaked out, Robach and Holmes were both married to other people. ABC formally terminated them in January of last year.
However, Robach’s TikTok account debut coincides with her and Holmes’ efforts to move past the negative effects of their relationship by pursuing new career goals.

In her first TikTok video, Robach mentioned her podcast, referring to it as “a whole new adventure that I’m figuring out as I go along with my partner.”

The two’s podcast debut on December 5 came precisely a year after ABC News President Kim Goodwin called for their separation when rumors of their office romance began to circulate.

Robach said, “December 5th last year, exactly one year ago today, was the day we were told not to come into work,” about ABC’s decision regarding the podcast’s first episode. Holmes chuckled, “We never got a follow-up call to say come back,” and Robach concurred. It was the exact opposite. They are, in Holmes’ words, “the folks who lost the jobs we love because we love each other.”
