Two brand-new AMG GLC Coupe variants are ready to take you on an exhilarating ride as they hit the pavement with strength and agility.
AMG GLC power combined with dynamic grace.
Affalterbach’s AMG engineers are adept at drawing attention with their sleek, sporty, and alluring designs. The new 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupes’ powerful stance immediately piques my curiosity.
The hand-built 2.0-liter four-cylinder AMG engine breathes life into these automobiles. Being the first SUV coupe to include hybrid technology, the 63 model’s heart becomes even more sporty.
By combining a permanently excited synchronous electric motor with an animalistic design, the 63 S E PERFORMANCE model becomes the world’s most powerful four-cylinder engine in series production.
These monsters, which push the boundaries of exclusivity to the limit, were created by an artisan engineer using extremely sophisticated production techniques along with painstaking craftsmanship. According to this theory, every Mercedes-AMG engine is given a special tag that has the maker’s signature on it.
Always the forerunners on the racecourse, these are historic as the world’s first passenger cars equipped with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger, a technology straight from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team. Reactivity is increased to almost rocket-like proportions with this power injection.
When one looks at its shape, the aggressive design emphasises the vehicle’s overwhelming brute might as it flows from the headlamps to the AMG-specific radiator grille. In order to ensure that you never forget you’re driving pure power, both models come equipped with AMG-specific features like the AMG Performance steering wheel, rear fascia, optional AMG Performance seats, AMG performance pedals, floor mats, and illuminated door sills.
AMG-specific displays such as “Supersport,” a portrait-oriented style that shows transmission settings, are visible on the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system. With a multitude of vehicle statistics available at 10 times per second, including lap and sector durations when driving on a racecourse, as well as speed, acceleration, steering angle, and brake pedal usage, AMG TRACK PACE gets your heart rate up.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe will go on sale in 2024, and the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupe will make its public debut in 2025.
