Offering up to 62 miles of pure electric driving, this is the first Kodiaq to be offered as a plug-in hybrid. By mid-2024, this new vehicle should be arriving in dealerships. In order for us to evaluate the interior and usability of the new Kodiaq, we too spent some time using it firsthand.
Design of the new Skoda Kodiaq
We already had a very good notion of the New Skoda Kodiaq‘s appearance thanks to several teases. You can now view the new look in all its splendour since the covers have been removed completely.
It doesn’t seem like a significant departure from the previous model when viewed from the front. They are LED standard and you still have a split headlight style. However, the grille is a little larger and more imposing, and the lamps themselves are little sleeker than previously. A strip of LEDs runs through the grille on some models for a little extra glitter.
With its boxy design, the new Kodiaq and the existing model are quite similar when viewed from the side. It is longer than previously, though, by about six centimetres, which should improve inside room and contribute to Skoda’s already well-deserved reputation for enormous utility. For higher-spec vehicles, alloy wheels come in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches.
Upon closer inspection, the most notable modification is located at the back of the vehicle, where a completely new wraparound tail light design with a full-width light bar across the boot is present. For an extra dash of sportiness, every car is now fitted with a stylish roof spoiler. The brand name is now printed across the tailboard instead of the Skoda emblem.

With a sweeping dashboard divided into many materials of varying colours, it exudes an extremely upscale atmosphere. Even while the design isn’t as elegant as more expensive German options, it still feels good when you look at it.
Interior design is also appropriately futuristic, with a sizable 13.0-inch touchscreen with crisp, fast menu navigation and excellent visuals. Space and utility of the Skoda Kodiaq
Anywhere you sit inside the Skoda Kodiaq, you’ll find ample space because it’s a large SUV. Though the centre seat isn’t very comfy and makes you feel elevated over the people next to you, those in the second row have plenty of headroom and legroom and can squeeze three across the bench with some ease.
There is good front-end storage, with huge cubby holes behind the armrest and under the main screen, as well as door bins that can accommodate a large bottle. Additionally, there are two USB-C ports on the front and rear.
