“Naked Gun” Reboot Starring Liam Neeson Will Be Released By Paramount in 2025

Along with “Paw Patrol 3” and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, the studio also revealed the release dates for its Robbie Williams musical. With a July 18, 2025 release date set, Paramount is finally moving forward with the long-awaited “Naked Gun” franchise revival starring Liam Neeson.

“Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers” co-wrote the draft script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, and Schaffer will direct and executive produce the as-yet-untitled production. Schaffer and Gregor previously collaborated on the Emmy-winning movie. Through their business Fuzzy Door, Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins produce. The new film is based on Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker’s extremely successful “Naked Gun” franchise and television show “Police Squad!”

Paramount has also added the next two films in two successful animation franchises to its calendar of releases. Distribution for “Paw Patrol 3” will come from Paramount Pictures, and the film is a Spin Master Entertainment/Nickelodeon Movies production scheduled for July 31, 2026. October 9, 2026, will see the release of Jeff Rowe’s and Point Grey Pictures’ follow-up to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” in theatres.

A broad release of “Better Man,” a musical based on Robbie Williams’ biography, is scheduled for January 17, 2025, after an exclusive opening on December 25, 2024. Director Michael Gracey, who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Gleeson and Oliver Cole, will lead the motion picture adaptation of “The Greatest Showman.” Paul Currie, Craig McMahon, Jules Daly, Gracey, and Coco Xiaolu Ma are the producers.

The high-concept action film “Novocaine,” starring Jack Quaid, is scheduled for release on March 14, 2025. The film centres around a protected bank executive who has a rare genetic ailment that precludes him from feeling pain. After his bank is robbed and one of his employees, Amber Midthunder, is abducted, he is compelled to take action and transform his biggest weakness into his greatest asset.
